Your Parks, Greenways & Recreation Advisory Board


The PGR Board was disolved by the Village Council on December 8, 2009. The Council plans to reconstitute this Board soon. The new Board will consist of 5 members to include 1 Planning Board member and 4 additional residents. Notice will be posted once the Board is reconstituted and applications are accepted.

Marvin Loop

The Marvin Loop is a planned walking trail that will eventually encircle the entire center section of the Village. Once completed, the Loop will be aan approximate four mile walking circuit that will offer residents the ability to safely walk along Marvin Rd., Joe Kerr Rd., Marvin School Rd. and New Town Rd. The Chimneys Trail

The Chimneys Trail is a planned natural walking and horse trail behind the Chimneys Subdivision. Volunteers are working to clear the trail and have cleared over 1600 feet to date. When completed, the trail will be approximately 1.2 miles long.
