Welcome to the website for the Village of Marvin, North Carolina!
A bedroom community of the booming Charlotte area, our village has been a quiet community rich with agriculture and horse farms since the 1800s. Today we seek to honor that heritage by managing our growth in a way that preserves our small village feel.
Close to downtown Charlotte and Charlotte Douglas International Airport, Marvin offers a tranquil setting with beautiful open spaces, great recreational opportunities and a commitment to building a great quality of life for our residents.
Here on this site you’ll find information on our Village government as well as what’s going on around town and new initiatives that we’re working on to make Marvin a better and better place to live.
If you’re new to our community, welcome. I encourage you to take an active role in Marvin’s future. If you’re considering a move to the Charlotte region, you’ll find no better community than Marvin to live and raise a family.

Council Office Hours
Beginning in January 2010, members of the Village Council will hold weekly office hours at the Village Hall. Each Wednesday, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., a Village Council member will be on-site at the Village Hall to meet with residents. You may drop-in for casual conversation or schedule an appointment for a specific time. Call the Village Hall to schedule your appointment. The monthly schedule is as follows: March 10 - Councilwoman Patton March 17 - Councilman Burman March 24 - Councilman Dispenziere March 31 - Councilman Salimao
