Council Calls for Public Hearings to be held July 9

Please take notice that the Marvin Village Council has called for public hearings to be held Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. at Banks Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall for the purpose of receiving public comment on the following:

  1. Proposed Text Amendments the Tree Ordinance Chapter 93.05  Enforcement and Administrative Responsibilities (E), Chapter 93.20 General Provisions (A)(B)(C) and (F), Chapter 93.50 Site Plans and Subdivision Plats (A) and (B)(2) and Proposed Text Amendment to the Subdivision Ordinance Chapter 150.103 Land Development Permit adding new Section (C)
  2. Proposed Text Amendments to Chapter 151.046 Screening and Landscaping (to prohibit landscape easements being on individually owned lots within a subdivision)
  3.  Proposed Text Amendments to Chapter 150.066 (D) Streets and Roads (to require cul-de-sacs and other dead end streets to terminate a minimum distance from the perimeter of the development)
  4. Temporary Use Permit #15-11507 For National Night Out and Marvin Movie Night to be held at Marvin Efird Park on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 6-10:30 p.m.

The Village of Marvin reserves the right to make amendments to the proposed documents based on information received at the public hearing.  Citizens are invited to make written and oral comment.  All documents are available for inspection at the Village Hall during regular business hours.
